This assignment required an 11x17” inch poster for the Visible Language Design Series poster. I was given the provided text and was instructed to choose from a number of provided stock images, and to only use two fonts. My poster design was based off of a modular grid, but due to the organization of the information, there are also defined columns. Posters need to grab, and hold, the viewer’s attention for a limited amount of time, and must also be legible and easy to read. The contrast in font and use of color show visual hierarchy and keeps the information organized.
